Features & Activities

You’ll feel the friendly atmosphere the moment you arrive. Riverview’s staff helps you and your family feel at home. Our five-meal-a-day program starts your day with tasty treats like doughnuts and muffins, fills you with a hearty breakfast, refuels you with a wholesome lunch, and rounds out your day with a big supper. If you’re still hungry after all that, grab something from the snack cart before bed. No matter which way you slice it, the eating’s good at Riverview.

Of course, we don’t live by bread alone. Riverview offers a wide range of activities, group outings, and celebrations. Whether it’s a trip to the circus, bus rides to the casino, or a Halloween Party, we’ll keep you entertained and engaged.

After a stay in the VA Hospital, I was still having problems with my hips. So I came to Riverview to rehabilitate. I've gotten a lot stronger, and move a lot better now. Therapy keeps me from getting too stiff, so I’m able dress myself again. It’s a great program, and I’ve been treated with courtesy and respect.

If I was grading the food I would give it a 94%. We've had tacos, chili-dogs, tater-tot hotdish, club sandwiches, you name it.

This has been a much different experience than I expected. I've had the opportunity to meet so many other people I might not have ever known. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

I honestly didn't realize how "un-institutionalized" a nursing home could be. I was simply amazed! I was greeted by warm and friendly staff who made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. It truly felt like staying at a resort! There was always someone checking in with me, assisting with anything that needed to be done. The therapy team was so wonderful helping me on the road to recovery. All of the staff have endeared themselves to me. I love each and every one of them.
