Pleasant Seasons is home to Welcamp, a new kind of gym that provides safe, effective workouts specifically designed for older adults. With as little as three sessions a week, you’ll be measurably stronger. Even better, you’ll gain more energy and endurance for activities you love. On average Welcamp participants improve their strength by 50% within three months, and double their strength within a year.

Our Community

Pleasant Seasons Assisted Living is located in picturesque Grand Rapids and shares the campus with Evergreen Terrace Healthcare Community. We offer individualized assistance for daily activities while helping you maintain and expand your independence. When you enter our comfortable, homey setting, you become part of an extended family of medical professionals, caregivers and caring staff members. As a resident you will benefit from skilled associates who are committed to your well-being.

We offer one and two-bedroom deluxe apartments showcasing different floor plans with easy access and privacy. Pleasant Seasons features numerous amenities and inviting community spaces. Our cheery sun room and gathering areas are perfect spots for family visits. The spacious dining room serves tasty home-style cooking and overlooks a beautiful wooded area where you can spot birds and other wildlife. There is also a sitting area with a flat-screen TV and a coffee bar for socializing. Pleasant Seasons is also home to Welcamp, an innovative fitness club designed specifically for older adults.

Pleasant Seasons is conveniently located close to area healthcare providers, the Judy Garland Museum and a vibrant shopping area. This ideal location, beautiful surroundings and warm decor give our facility a comfortable Up North feeling.

Our Approach

We understand that moving from a familiar environment to a new community is a big change. We’re here to help you every step of the way. Before you move in, we’ll develop a personalized health and wellness plan that includes a pre-admission appointment with your physician. The plan also includes your individual preferences, lifestyle interests and goals. Once you arrive, our transition team helps you thrive in your new home with services that include:

  • Medication management
  • Assistance with bathing and dressing
  • Wound care
  • Access to outpatient physical & occupational therapy
  • Coordinated services with outside healthcare professionals
  • Recreational and social programming
  • Housekeeping, laundry service, and apartment maintenance
  • Transportation coordination
  • Three meals a day

Additionally, there are options for utilizing in-house services such as dental, audiology and podiatry. We are committed to helping you pursue the activities you love, and we support you in a safe and caring environment you’ll be happy to call home.
